Bongo and the Point started with a family vocal group in 2007, but has been evolving since then.

Jim & Dee Patton have been writing and singing together for 36 years; they are originally from San Diego, California, but have been living in East Texas since 1994. Jim is singer, arranger, producer, and guitarist, among other things; Dee is singer/songwriter, and works her day job at a non-profit organization called Mercy Ships.

Their daughter Bree is a singer and an artist, and spends her time creating, reading, social networking, and playing the occasional video game.

Victor, our drummer, is the owner of "Victor's NY Deli" in downtown Lindale, TX.

Jeff Muffoletto is a college student, and has been playing bass with the band since June.
