This tongue-in-cheek ditty actually has a nice message. We learned it to sing at a birthday party for a friend who was turning 64. He loved it, the crowd love it, so we added it to our song list.
This song was the one that knocked The Beatles out of the No. 1 spot for the first time in 1964 in our home town of San Diego. It also served notice that Brian Wilson was going to be a force to be reckoned with. A great hot rod song!
The flip side of The Beatles' first big hit in the U.S. A real rocker that has been covered by a lot of bands, including Bongo And the Point. Get it now.
This song was the opening song on side 2 of the final album The Beatles recorded, "Abbey Road." It seems to fit our vocal style and it's one we don't hear a lot of other bands doing. Hope you enjoy it.
